HOW DOES IT WORK?

When the button is pressed, a loud ultrasonic tone (above the range of human hearing) is emitted which most dogs* find intolerable, and will quickly try to escape. Yet the tone does not hurt the dog, only makes it very uncomfortable - so it is perfectly humane and appropriate to use; and a much more civilised alternative to shouting, or physically engaging with the dog which can result in injury to either party.

Combined with the ultrasonic tone is the option of a flashing light which is very effective at night. And, the light can also be used as a standard torch if required.

PET DOG TRAINING

Used sparingly this can be an effective training device. Press the right button for up to a second and give a voice command like 'NO' at the same time. This will reinforce your training.

*Because this device depends on an audible signal, its effectiveness will vary based on the dogs' hearing sensitivity. Young dogs are typically more sensitive (and more aggressive) than older dogs.
